AaGlobal steps in to help bookings after competitor goes into liquidation

AaGlobal was first on the scene to help NHS and Local Authority clients across the country when another language services provider, Pearl Linguistics, unexpectedly went into liquidation on Friday.

We realised that there were hundreds of appointments at Hospitals, GP surgeries, Council offices to mention a few which couldn’t go ahead without an interpreter and important documents, including Children’s Safeguarding issues were waiting to be translated. Fortunately for our clients, AaGlobal has one of the largest nationwide coverage of qualified and experienced linguists which can be mobilised at short notice. We were therefore able to promptly step in and fulfil those appointments, within literally half an hour in some cases, to ensure our clients and service users did not suffer as a result of the sudden disappearance of their existing service provider.

Kirk Akdemir, Chief Executive of AaGlobal said: “I am really happy to be able to help our public sector clients through a difficult time, most of them not knowing if scheduled appointments could go ahead, and if you consider how long some service users would have been waiting for their treatment, it was excellent that AaGlobal could be there for them.”
