Job Summary:
As the recruitment assistant you are expected to be pro-active and enthusiastic in your day-to-day work to ensure the very best service is provided. You will market, recruit and support linguists across the UK and worldwide. You will be a key part of the recruitment team, and you will be involved in supporting other members of the team by coordinating the end-to-end recruitment process for linguists, ensuring full compliance onboarding and vetting procedures.
Key responsibilities:
•Administer the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring that all vetting checks are completed prior to a candidate being authorised
•Carry out daily video call interviews, to assess candidate suitability.
•Use all means available including social media to promote interpreter and translator opportunities
•Use various systems to ensure the onboarding process is completed accurately.
•To effectively manage recruitment related enquiries via phone and e-mail, ensuring that these are dealt with in a timely, accurate and professional manner
•Assist with any recruitment events or initiatives that the organisation undertakes throughout the year.
•Check and verify professional registration and qualifications ensuring that there is sufficient evidence that this has been completed.
•Maintain accurate records relating to recruitment activity.
•Maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally.
•Provide training and advice to new linguists.
•Data entry ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Education, skills and competencies
Essential:
•To be DBS checked
•Computer literate in Microsoft Office 365, as well as have the ability to learn new software
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Pro-active and self-motivated in all aspects of your work
•Target driven and able to work calmly under pressure on a daily basis
•A key team player
•Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
