Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use our website and client portal. This page explains how accessible they are, what we’re improving, and how to get help or request information in another format, including British Sign Language (BSL).
Last reviewed: 9th October 2026
What this statement covers
This statement applies to:
- our website, aaglobal.co.uk
- our Client Portal, portal.aaglobal.co.uk, which our clients’ staff use to book and manage language services
It is published by AaGlobal Language Services Ltd.
Our commitment
Although we are not a public sector body, we voluntarily follow the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018. We also meet our duties under the Equality Act 2010.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What you should be able to do
You should be able to:
- zoom in up to 400% without text spilling off the screen
- navigate using just a keyboard
- use a screen reader such as NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver
- change colours, contrast and fonts using your browser or device settings
Compliance status
Our website and Client Portal are partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA because of the issues listed below.
Known issues
Website
- Some pages have more than one main heading, and some headings skip levels, which can make navigating with a screen reader harder. (WCAG 1.3.1)
- On the Privacy Policy page, some section titles are formatted as bold text rather than headings. (WCAG 1.3.1)
- The contact form has a dropdown without a label, and some fields don’t identify their purpose, so auto-fill may not work. (WCAG 1.3.1, 1.3.5)
- Some text on the Careers page has low colour contrast. (WCAG 1.4.3)
- Some decorative images have unnecessary descriptions, such as “icon”. (WCAG 1.1.1)
- There is no “skip to main content” link. (WCAG 2.4.1)
- Some PDF documents, such as our certificates, may not be fully accessible.
Client Portal
- Form field borders and the “Sign in” button have low colour contrast. (WCAG 1.4.11)
- The email and password fields don’t identify their purpose, so auto-fill may not work. (WCAG 1.3.5)
- Links are not underlined, so they may be hard to tell apart from normal text. (WCAG 1.4.1)
- The keyboard focus indicator on form fields is faint. (WCAG 2.4.7)
- The white text on the green confirmation message may have low contrast. (WCAG 1.4.3)
- Some page sections are not marked up as landmarks, which makes navigating with a screen reader harder.
We plan to fix these issues by 30/10/2026.
Content outside our control
Documents uploaded to the Client Portal by users may not be accessible. Links to external sites, such as LinkedIn and X, are covered by those sites’ own accessibility statements.

How we tested
On 9 October 2026, our internal team tested a sample of pages using automated testing (axe-core) and manual checks of colour contrast, headings, link text, image descriptions, form labels and keyboard navigation.
- Website: Home, Contact, Our Clients, Careers, News, a news article and the Privacy Policy
- Client Portal: the sign-in page
We will test the signed-in pages of the Client Portal by 30/10/202.
Ongoing improvements
We review our website and Client Portal regularly, and we check new features for accessibility before we release them. We will update this statement whenever we fix an issue or find a new one.
